Connect Devices to Wi-Fi
It’s a wireless world, and you want to work efficiently with Wi-Fi on your devices – including smartphones, tablets, laptops and more. Here’s where you can find details to add devices to your business Wi-Fi network.

Android Devices
Required to Start:
- Your wireless network name (also known as your SSID) and wireless network key (password)
- Your Android device powered on
- On your Android device’s home screen, tap the Apps icon.
- Swipe to locate and tap Settings.
- Locate Wi-Fi, and tap the on button to turn the Wi-Fi off.
- Once the off displays, tap it to turn on the Wi-Fi.
You’ll know you’re connected when Connected displays under your wireless network name.
To return to the home screen, tap the Home icon.

iOS Devices
Required to Start:
- Your wireless network name (also known as your SSID) and wireless network key (password)
- Your iPhone or iPad powered on
- On your Home screen, tap the Settings app and then Wi-Fi.
- Toggle Wi-Fi from on to off.
- Toggle Wi-Fi back from off to on.
You’ll know you’re connected when there’s a checkmark next to your wireless network name and a Wi-Fi symbol at the top of your screen.
To return to the home screen, press the Home button, or if you have a newer iPhone, swipe up.

Windows 7
Required to Start:
- Your wireless network name (also known as your SSID) and wireless network key (password)
- Your computer or laptop powered on
- Select the Windows button and then Control Panel.
- Choose Network and Internet and then Network Share Center.
- Select Troubleshoot Problems.
- Click Network Adapter, and follow the prompts through the troubleshooting assistant.

Required to Start:
- Your wireless network name (also known as your SSID) and wireless network key (password)
- Your computer or laptop powered on
- Right click on the network connection icon in the lower right corner.
- Select Troubleshoot Problems.
- Follow the prompts through the troubleshooting assistant.

Mac OS X
Required to Start:
- Your wireless network name (also known as your SSID) and wireless network key (password)
- Your computer or laptop powered on
- Select the Apple Menu and then System Preferences.
- Choose Network.
- Select Assist Me and then Diagnostics.
- Follow the prompts through the troubleshooting assistant.
