Speed Dial
Speed Dial or Speed Call
Also known as speed call, speed dial is a feature that enables you to store specific phone numbers in your phone, so you can dial them using quick codes rather than the entire phone number. Midco offers two different speed-calling options, single-digit codes and 2-digit codes.
How to Program 2-Digit Speed Call Numbers
To set up and assign speed dialing numbers on your business phone:
- Lift the handset, and dial *75.
- After the stutter dial tone, enter a two-digit speed dial number.
- Dial the phone number you want assigned to that speed code.
- For long-distance numbers, include a "1" and the area code.
- Press #. A fast-busy signal indicates the telephone number has been stored.
To change a number in your speed call list:
- Lift the handset, and dial *75.
- After the stutter dial tone, enter a two-digit code you wish to change.
- Enter the new phone number you want assigned to that speed code.
- For long-distance numbers, include a "1" and the area code.
- Press #. A fast-busy signal indicates the telephone number has been stored.

You can program a list of up to eight numbers to your speed dial.
